His alias k-os is pronounced as “chaos” and is an acronym for Knowledge of Self. k-os’s music is a wide variety of genres that include rap, funk, rock, and reggae whose lyrics often focus on promoting a positive message.

A five-piece hardcore rock band that was formed back in 2001 in Ontario, Alexisonfire is made up of George Pettit, Dallas Green, Wade MacNeil, Chris Steele, and Jordan Hastings. The band is characterized by their use of multiple vocals - one that features melodic, soft singing, one that can be categorized as punk rock, and an explosive screaming on the other end. When Alexisonfire emerged from the underground rock scene in late 2001, they instantly impressed music critics and got a gold certification for their self-titled debut album.

Daryl Milton Byron Brunt is an Ontario resident and was a contestant on the 3rd season of the hit reality shoe Canadian Idol. Kathryn Dawn Lang or popularly known as K.D. Lang, was born on November 2, 1961 and is a Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter. She was first drawn to country music when she attended college, and became fascinated with the life and music of Patsy Cline and there she was determined to pursue a career as a professional singer. When K.D. Lang formed a Patsy Cline tribute band and released a debut album, it eventually led to national attention in Canada.
