During their career, OLP has sold over 5 million albums all over the world, won 4 Juno Awards, and won 10 MuchMusic Video Awards. They have won the most number of awards by any artist or group at the MMVA’s.

Her international debut album, Jagged Little Pill holds the title as the best selling debut album by a female artist in the US, and the highest selling debut album worldwide in the history of music. She is also one of the top 20 best selling female artists in music and is the best selling female rock artist ever.

Nickelback is a rock band based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The members of the band are Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake, and Brandon Kroeger. The band’s music is heavily influenced by Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Metallica, and Motorhead.

Nickelback got its name from the change that the band member Mike Kroeger often gave to customers in his previous job at Starbucks wherein he’d often say, “Here’s your nickel back.”

Paul Albert Anka was born on July 30, 1941 in Ontario and is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actor. During the late 50s, he was a famous teen idol and went on to write well known music, including the English lyrics for Frank Sinatra’s signature song “My Way,” which is the video below.

The Dears formed in 1995 and released their first album, End of a Hollywood Bedtime Story in 2000. The lineup of the band is fluid and changes frequently. The band’s core member is founder and lead singer Murray Lightburn. The current lineup of the band (in place since 2004) include George Donoso, ValĂ©rie Jodoin-Keaton, Patrick Krief, Martin Pelland, and Lightburn’s wife, Natalia Yanchak.
