Allison Louise Crowe was born on November 16, 1981 and is a Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, and pianist from Nanaimo, British Columbia and now lives in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. Allison Crowe records on her own record label, Rubenesque Records Ltd.

When Alexisonfire emerged from the underground rock scene in late 2001, they instantly impressed music critics and got a gold certification for their self-titled debut album.

Born September 27, 1984, Avril Lavigne is a Canadian Grammy award-nominated pop punk musician and actress. In 2007, she won 9th place in the Jabra music contest for the Best Band in the World category, based on fan votes from all over the world. Since her debut album in 2002 entitled Let Go, her albums have sold more than 30 million worldwide.

Occasionally referred to as BnL, the Barenaked Ladies is a Juno-winning and Grammy-nominated Canadian rock band.The members of the band include Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Steven Page, Ed Robertson, and Tyler Stewart.

Barenaked Ladies was formed in 1988 in Scarborough, Ontario, and are best known for hits like “One Week,” “Pinch Me,” “If I had $1,000,000,” and “Call and Answer,” the video below.

Often abbreviated as OLP, Our Lady Peace is a Canadian alternative rock band whose members are Raine Maida on vocals and guitar, Duncan Coutts on bass, Jeremy Taggart on drums, and Steve Mazur on guitar.

During their career, OLP has sold over 5 million albums all over the world, won 4 Juno Awards, and won 10 MuchMusic Video Awards. They have won the most number of awards by any artist or group at the MMVA’s.
