Aselin Debison was born on June 27, 1990 and is a Canadian pop and Celtic music singer. She was born in Glace Bay , Nova Scotia, and was named after Aslan, the lion in C. S. Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia . She began her singing career in 1999, when she was asked to sing at a rally of protesting miners in her hometown. Soon after this performance she began working on a Christmas album The Littlest Angel which was released in 2001. In 2002, she was spotted by Sony Classical president Peter Gelb at the East Coast Music Awards. Her debut album Sweet Is the Melody appeared that same year.

Lara Fabian is an international Belgian-Italian singer, known for her vocal prowess and skilled technique. She sings in Italian, Spanish, English, and French, all of which she is fluent in. Lara Fabian became a Canadian citizen in 1994 during the time she began her career in Quebec.

Daryl Milton Byron Brunt is an Ontario resident and was a contestant on the 3rd season of the hit reality shoe Canadian Idol. Born on December 2, 1978, Nelly Kim Furtado is a Canadian singer, songwriter, record producer and instrumentalist who also holds a Portuguese citizenship. Her Grammy Award-winning single I’m Like a Bird was her breakthrough single  and several albums followed after, including the album Loose and one of its hit singles, Promiscuous, which is the video below.

Kathryn Dawn Lang or popularly known as K.D. Lang, was born on November 2, 1961 and is a Grammy Award-winning Canadian singer and songwriter. She was first drawn to country music when she attended college, and became fascinated with the life and music of Patsy Cline and there she was determined to pursue a career as a professional singer. When K.D. Lang formed a Patsy Cline tribute band and released a debut album, it eventually led to national attention in Canada.
