Cadence Weapon - Black Hand

Rollie Pemberton, also known as Cadence Weapon, is a Canadian rapper born in Edmonton, Alberta. He began rapping at the age of 13, and released the underground mix tape Cadence Weapon is the Black Hand in 2005, and a full length album at the end of the same year. Reviews of several magazines have named Cadence Weapon as one of the artists to watch out for, and one of his albums was hailed as one of the best albums in 2006.

Buck 65, or Richard Terfry, is a Canadian hip hop artist, MC, and turntablist. Recently, he has moved away from hip hop and is moving closer to blues, country, folk, and rock. Richard Terfry is also a host at CBC Tadio 3, with a hosting program on the CBC Radio 3 website’s web radio station during weekdays.

Starting at the age of 11, Kareem “Choclair” Blake first played the role of ‘Junior’ following in his older brother’s footsteps who, at the time, was the hottest rapper on the block. This was the bar for Kareem Blake. The underground community worldwide quickly embraced the album, establishing him as a standout rapper in the burgeoning Canadian hip-hop scene.
